Waterford City has a long tradition of excellence and high quality skills in local and indigenously developed industries including foundries, port related industries and major craft based industries such as Waterford Crystal.
Waterford City has a well educated, highly skilled and young workforce with almost half of the workforce under 35 years of age. The City’s labour force has grown in recent years as has the percentage of the workforce with third level qualifications.
